Friday Sketchers #5 ~ Distressing For Fun...

I created this post last night as I'm on a course at work all day today and tomorrow so probably will be too tired to post or do anything until Wednesday..... but i didn't want to miss out doing the FS challenge as I've already missed one since it started.... and as you know i luuuuuuv sketches...
Well I've broken my rule already this week, i was going to try to use a different companies stamps every day i made a card, and i used Magnolia yesterday however i did manage to squeeze in an image from Alota...........Oh well i just thought that this one was perfect for the card i wanted to create, a blogging friend is going on her travels next week so i decided to combine the two and make this card to send to her and to enter FS challenge, the sketch this week is by the talented Kimmie she has lots of fun and inspirational creations on her blog and I'm sure you'll not be disappointed if you visit...I always seem to use a variety of papers from one set on a card, so this time i decided to set myself a challenge and just use one sheet of card and one sheet of paper, and i think this one turned out ok, I'm quite pleased with it.......
I really did think that i was going to have a problem with this one but after i took a look at what the DT had done i was raring to go with it.....
The paper or rather card stock i used has an embossed glossy dot all over it, and is quite thick card so lent it self really well to distressing.... and Bazzill is always brilliant as it distresses to give a great look, i then added a little Chalkeyes Ink to the edges of the Bazzill. Yes More distressing.......LOL i am totally hooked...... The lovely cute Tilda was one of the images the lovely Moni sent me, if you've not visited her blog yet it really does contain stunning creations and inspiration in bucket loads...you don't know what you're missing...go take a look now.....(after you've read this LOL) Well it's really Monday morning and off to work i go.......BoooooHooHoo....
