Ismaki Meets Studio Calico........

I really wanted to show the kits i used for this one, I've never posted before about Studio Calico but I've just purchased add ons for my fourth subscription kit and i have to say every single one of them has been amazing, if i was just to buy stamps and have these kits to play every month i would be very happy.... It always arrives in this big box......Then you open the box to find these paper bags sealed with Studio Calico Labels (i have to say I've used them on cards i know i know it's taking recycling a little too far...) When you open the bags it is like your birthday once a month, i just love these kits, they have every thing you need apart from glue, tape and cutters..there have even been rubber stamps in there, i actually cancelled my magazines in favour of having my kit every month, this month however my hubby told me he'd by the add ons, big mistake, i decided i would need one of each add on, (well i could have said two.) The June kit looks absolutely amazing although until it arrives i have three gorgeous kits to play with....and with the gorgeous colour combinations in the kits inspiration is

never very far away.... I eventually decided to use part of this kit here, it's called News Stand and i am so impressed with every thing in it, i love the beautiful colours. The ever so cute Hanglar girl was a present from my friend Claudia...(Claudia i am still oooooing and ahhhing over these images..) Claudia is also the Guest Designer at Ismaki this week and has designed the sketch (another beautiful one).

It is also my beautiful niece Holly's birthday in July so i decided to make this one for my Sister Jo (Holly's Mum) to give to Holly on her birthday.. I'm quite please with the way this one turned out and it was very clever of Claudia to give the option of the card being Colourful, i have to say I've seen some beautiful creations from this sketch, i hope mine matches up to them...Another success for you, i would say Claudia....
