Mojo Monday #46 ~ Bugs And Kisses

I'm actually posting this on Saturday evening but dating it Sunday as i don't know if I'll get to post tomorrow, I'm going to be a busy bee catching up on paper work (how horrid can you get)

I'm not quite sure if this is allowed, i don't have the round nestabilities yet (they are on my wish list) so i used the oval set i do have, Over at Poetic Artistry there is a new sketch Julee creates beautiful sketches every Monday you really should make a visit and have a go, i really did like the look of this one and knew what i wanted to do as soon as i saw it, Claudia sent me some stamped images a while back and a few were whippersnapper designs which i have none of, aren't they cute, i really love this little lady bug in particular, i think I'll have to put them on my wish list to....

I used some papers I've had for an absolute age, they are Daisy D's Chasing Butterflies and the Hardware is Hodge Podge, i am totally in love with this stuff, I've never seen such well made brads and and hardware, i am so glad i ordered them and even more glad i just ordered another three tins.....Shhhhhhh Hubby doesn't know.....hehehehehe, i created a hand written sentiment only it didn't turn out so good as my hands are playing up today and my hand writing is terrible on these days...

Tropical Delight..... At Last My First Creation In Four Weeks....

I have been a very naughty blogger but as most of you know, i do have a good excuse, With Gizmo ill i got stressed and my RA decided to rear its ugly head, well i am now not so sure that stress was causing it! well all of it anyway. It's funny I've just been over at Claudia's blog paying a visit and she was saying about the weather being awful and stormy, well for the last three or so weeks the weather here has been up and down and the rain we are getting for June/July i don't think is normal summer weather for us, as most RA suffers will tell you, our bodies are like barometers, we know when the weather is going to be bad as our joints start to ache like mad and swell up, i think it's a little of both weather and stress, but i wanted to show you the sky from my house at six this evening, as you know it is light here till ten in the evening so the dark sky is definitely storm clouds gathering......i thought it looked really pretty, but my joints are screaming go away...LOL

Well I'm rambling again, i am finally back to posting, and boy do i have some posts to make, tomorrow I'm going to show you all the beautiful things I've received from my blogging friends over the last few weeks and still today i got a totally unexpected but gorgeous card from Heidi and the most wonderful photograph of Henrik and Martine, she is so lucky to have such beautiful children, Heidi is away on holiday at the moment, i hope Mickey and Minnie Mouse are looking after them all on the first leg of their trip...

My first card is for Mojo Monday, I'm posting it first as they have to be in by tomorrow...i started colouring images using SU inks my friend Claudia very kindly orders for me, a couple of weeks ago so i have lots ready to use..... this one is using a Stampin Up stamp set called Embrace Life, i especially love the sentiment in this set, we should all Embrace Life and be grateful for what we have... i also desperately wanted to start using the last two Studio Calico kits i had, this is the first time I've used them in ages and my new kit is arriving any day, and again Mark treated me to the full set....i am a lucky girl to have such a wonderful husband....i used scenic route papers as i felt they had a tropical feel to them...this one was strips of all of the papers in the range...and i used H2o's in the center to give it all sparkle...by the way Maria has a fantastic tutorial here, you really should visit her blog, she has lots of fantastic tutorials and is an amazingly talented lady... You will have to excuse my wonky snaps, i used my crop-a-dile but didn't realise that my hands weren't quite up to squeezing.....and they sort of went a little bit wonky donkey.....It is so good to be back making cards and visiting blogs, things have been so difficult over the last few weeks...Gizmo is now doing so well, yesterday Gizmo went for his first full walk down to the river (no he's not allowed to go in...) without him having to have a ride back on my mobility scooter and today amazingly he's been twice, two one hour walks, and he's coming off the lead to have a run around and roll in any thing he can find that stinks to high heavens....LOL i really don't understand it, i have one dog that hates to get dirty poor Pika get so upset if he's dirty but Gizmo, if he finds something smelly or dead even he'll roll in it, it's so funny he has these stiff little legs and all four end up in the air with his little bottom wriggling in delight.....he doesn't much like the baths he has to have though.......Well that's all from me today, I'm going to have an hour blog hopping and catching up with friends before bed.....I hope you are all enjoying your weekend and can enjoy a lazy Sunday............(what's one of those again!!!!!)

Mojo Monday........Week #38 & I'm Finally Doing My First Sketch Of The Week.....

Julee over at Poetic Artistry has set a new Mojo Monday Sketch challenge, and it's now Friday and i'm finally after an incredibly hectic week getting round to creating cards & posting... i can't believe i've not posted all week.... pathetic.....i know.....but the good thing is i don't have work for nine days so card making and blogging galore...........MMMMMMMMM

Well here is my first card of the week, and i used Julee's sketch only Alvin is a little off center so i'm not sure it will count but here goes......

I got the old Cricut out for this one.... i've not used it since xmas and with fourty cartridges i really should make more of an effort.... i created this card for a friend of a friend, her little boy is a year old next week and she wanted a hand crafted card.....

Finally I'm Creating Again ~ Mojo Monday #36

There's a new sketch over at Poetic Artistry, I've been subscribing to Julee's blog for ages now but with things going so wrong in our lives over the last few months, havn't had the time to have a go, so to speak..... Well this week i made sure i had time and decided not to use a Tilda, Bella or any other figure.... then i took a look at the Magnolia Club set and thought i'd try to do something with the extra embellishment stamps.... I'd never tried using them this way before so this was a first, i think it turned out OK what do you think?

I have to confess, i have folders on my laptop with sketches and one is full of all 36 Mojo Monday sketches, as if you didn't know, i do like my sketches.......
