I took a small piece of thick Vellum you could use tracing paper or anything similar acetate would be ideal as it would last for ever and a day then i took a pen and traced around the little Hanglar girl... I only traced around the outside of the image and cut it out, making sure i cut any small pieces around the hair line or the legs, if you create a complete scene you'll see through these pieces...
ET Voila one mask allowing a scene to be created from a pre stamped image and here is my little baker girl with her birthday cake.......
I used the new chair from the Shabby Chic Magnolia range and the birthday cake is an older Magnolia stamp, i masked the back of the chair by adding masking tape to the actual stamp, don't worry it doesn't damage the stamp but it makes a chair a table.....cool hey... I've got some Love Elsie Pink Red and brown papers and I'm going to use Claudia's new sketch to make a card, but i can't put it on here yet as it's going to a friend who is also a blogger but i will show it off when she gets it... Hope the way i mask pre-stamped images is useful to you to...

Masking With Pre-Stamped Images.... Simple......Hanglar Stanglar Baker Girl....
I wondered if any body else was like me with ready stamped images, i get them from friends and buy them even sometimes but then when i want to mask to create a scene i wondered how to do it, well i found this to be the easiest way and i now use it all the time and thought I'd share how i mask stamped images with you...... I got Hanglar Images last week, I've been trying to get my hands on these for over a year and finally got some, then i looked at my Magnolia and thought these would really go with the little girl baker..... see what you think, hope the way i mask with stamped images is useful....it's really easy for that's for sure... Here goes... Isn't she cute but i want to give her a cake to show off....... so here's what i did...

I just found your blog today, and was really impressed with your tutorial combining the magnolia stamps with the hanglar stamps. I too covet finding some stamp off of the hanglar stamps!
