Scrummy Stash Cafe Challenge - Brad Pit

The challenge this week was to make a card/layout using brads. I decided to combine both a card and layout as Saturday 19th of January is my husband Mark's birthday (43rd) and i wanted to make him a card from the other loves of his life his boys!!! (our JRT's) or babies as i call them, with my son all grown up (21 in March) we decided we needed replacement babies, so for Mark's 40th we adopted two new members of the family Gizmo (sticky up ears/he's at the top of my blog with snow on his nose) and Spike (he's my big baby).

Last year was really tough as Gizmo contracted an infection in his eye and when we took him to Solihull to see a specialist we discovered he had birth defects in both eyes, he was going to lose one eye straight away and they had to operate to save the other, we were devastated and i was so stressed i became ill (Fibromyalgia Flare up). Any way the long and short of it, he had one eye taken away and the other eye he will lose his sight (the photo at the top was taken in 2005), it could be today or two or three years from now we don't know, but he brings joy to our house every single day, they both have since they came to live with us. I wanted to add this to my blog as i thought everyone might wonder why we are so silly about our boys...... They are just very very special to us both..
